The Coblat SS runs mid 14s stock, it's a drivers race stock for stock for 02-05 WRX
True, but take it over 100mph and its over. They trap 5mph higherOriginally Posted by bigwrxguy

I really do not think the interior is all that bad.Originally Posted by D0WNxSH1FT
I sat in one twice and both times were very pleased with how the interior feels for a $22k car. The only other car in that price range (under $25k) that has performance too with a nicer interior is the RSX-S.

You can spot an SC one by it's "High mount spoiler".

*according to Chevrolet
This I did not know, but is very nice to find out. It deffinatly explains why all the Cobalt SS's I've seen at the strip were barely running mid 15's, and the one my friend testdrove he said was absolutely pittiful and there was no way it was a 14 sec car.Originally Posted by jeremy96gase

i sat in one at the Pittsburgh International Auto Show and the interior is alright, but i hate that horribly flat steering wheel, and the white interior, i think that the wrx interior (05-06) looks a lot better, with the metal look.....My neighbor has an SS supercharged, and it sounds really nice, and looks awesome in black with the big intercooler chilling right in the front air dam. I gotta talk to him, try and get him to race my friends wrx or my other friends GTO.Originally Posted by DTR rex

The SS can't get off the line, thats its biggest downfall, it just wheel hops or spins tires.. cool looking but not really good for racing.
From a roll they are fast, faster then a stage 1 WRX or Legacy GT. My friend has one and my other has a srt 4, both stock and they race all the time, and bascially the cobalt jumps out ahead till the srt hits 3rd gear and then the srt jumps out and they lock srt rear bumper to cobalt front bumper till about 120.

I'd take one over a Civic Si....
