Mach 1 > AP stage 2 WRX from a roll

This guy had a cat back and that was it. He was by himself and weighs about 130lbs.

I'm 240 and had a 150lbs passenger + I had my 17 inch wheels and azenis on about 6lbs more a wheel over stock.

Anyway we only raced from a roll 4 times. Those things move once those 2 extra cams kick in. I stayed a little closer in the lower speeds but as soon as we started going above 60mph he just pulled away to 90-100mph. He probably had 2 cars+ on me each time.

I will say the extra person and wheels made a big difference is how much slower my car was. I had raced a 04 GT stang 2 months ago. And I raced the same guy again tonight and only inched away from him. I was like WTF.

I felt slow time for a bigger snail.

    Oh and it was a 04 mach 1 5spd. the 04 had 310hp/335lbs.

I don't know if stage 2.5 would be able to keep up with it.

I went onto a mustang forum awhen the new mustangs came out and I think the mach 1 guys were biatching because the new mustangs are faster than there cars and cost less. I think maybe that dude in the mach 1 you raced either had more than he was saying or the passenger and wheels/tires slowed you down more than you think.

Yea, I think he might of had more than a catback. I ran one with my Evo. There pretty quick though.

I know this guy and he's only had it for a few weeks and know the guys who help him work on it. All it has is a catback.

Hows the new Mustang faster, Motortrend ran a 13.2 at 106.7 with the 04 5spd. The auto runs 13.7-13.8

    +1.

He is probably a few ticks faster in the 1/4mile and is trapping roughly 4mph higher than you.

The Mach 1s are pretty fast cars, and they are faster than the 05 GTs. The outcome might have been a little closer without the passenger or the wheels but i think he still would have pulled on you some. BTW, 130 LBS.? He's just a little guy.

Well I should get to race this guy again this Friday, there's going to be a big cruise again. Some of the Chicago land SRT-4 club members are coming down. Should be fun, I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Oh and I will be putting the stock tires back on.

Who was b*tching about their Mach being slower than a new GT?
Slap them across the face and tell them to wake up.

I know i was just stating that Mach 1 is MUCH faster than the older GTs. Mach 1 and new GTs is a pretty good race.
