    Stock WRX is slow.

I drove my freinds 04 WRX last night UP/SRI. My 03 is AP stage 2 93oct + UP no cats and IC hoses.

It was so slow, when the turbo kicked in it felt like VTEC compared to mine. I have the KB shifter and bushing and his stock shifter felt so long and soft. Made me realize how short mine is.

I let him drive my car and he said it was so much fun, it just kept pulling and pulling. He said it felt like a V8 it had torque down low.

Ditching the cats makes a world of difference. I have been driving around without the UTEC lately and it is kind of fun. The car is much tamer but, still pretty fast around town. This might have something to do with my new lightened flywheel keeping the lag down. The WRX isn't really even quick enough to be "fun" until you get rid of the re92's and cats. Then you get addicted to thing that are short but firm because of the way you can keep pulling and pulling... you get the idea
