Spanked a 355 spider tonight

from 40-130 I really thaught I would have gotten killed just because you think Ferrari ya know.lol..anyways anyon know the specs on them?I shut down at 130 but I am sure I would have run out of top end and he would pass me since top speed on that car is 185 mph..
Btw-My mods are sti with Forged CP pistons, Headers coated and wrapped 3"Tbe , K&N Typhoon,Ecutek dyno 316whp /329t/q
we pulled over and he said he had a Tuby exhaust? sounded awesome

A 360 Stradale dynos at 302 whp at the dyno I go to, where a tuned stock turbo STi puts down about 285 or so. I'd imagine that a 355 puts down 20-30 whp less than the 360. Does that dyno read really low or something? I mean 302whp seems really low for a car thats claimed to be over 400 at the crank? thats an aweful lot of drivetrain loss...

F355 aren't super fast compared to modern cars it is about 10 years old. The 3.5L V8 only puts out 380hp and 268ft/lb at the crank. Supposed to run 5.3 0-60 and 13.7 1/4mi and 175 topspeed.

Yeah, it reads very low. Dyno Dynamics are known as heartbreakers.

Try closer to 13.0 at around 110-115. The F355 was definatly no slouch at all. I have seen mag times anywhere from high 12's to low 13's, and I havent seen a single one with a trapspeed much under 110, usually closer to 115. You said it yourself, their around 380hp, with a close ratio transmission and a curb weight of around 3000lbs (not to mention stock tires in the 305-315 width for crazy traction), they are definatly alot stronger than a high 13.

Maybe your right I was just going by Ferrari's published 1/4 mi time. Its definitely not a slow car. I'm just saying its almost 10 years old so there's more cars that can compete with it now.
