Maybe, on a brisk day, with a 1.7 60', an FMIC, and an aggressive ProTune, but not on a stock 2.5 map. A 107-110 trap is good for mid-high 12's.

Well with lot of TQ, if you dump the clutch at 3-4 grand, you'll just sit there and smoke the tires.

Last tueday night, I raised the rpm to 3k and released the clutch slowly and I was able to get the fastest 60' time of 1.932 with stock tires, my best yet.

my best 60 foot time with cobb stage 2 is a 1.90, and i haven't been able to beat that yet. a 1.7 60 foot is RIDICULOUS, does anyone have any tips on how to get my 60 foot down into the 1.8's?. I rev it to 5 grand and hold it, let the clutch slip a little bit, then dump it when it starts to grab pretty good, and i get no bog at all, and maybe 1 tire churp from the front wheels.

Umm...not with a protune. It's almost the same thing as an Ecutek, except you can change maps.

Instead of holding it at 5k, blip the throttle between 4-5.5k, then quickly slip the clutch when the tach is on the upswing. You'll build boost better that way.

ive gotten a 1.7 60' in my DSM, 1.78, with consistent mid 1.8's on ****ty bald front tires that spin like no other. Go from a 1.9 to a 1.7 and your 1/4 time will drop dramatically.

its all in your technique, my 1.7 was lucky, im an average 1.8 ish driver...some of my friends with DSM's will get 1.6's and 1.7's consistentlyy, some with and without a 2-step.

i launch between 55 and 6 slip and dump...im decent at it, but my friend with a cobb ap st 2 03 says its hard sometimes to launch the WRX's cause hes scared of the tranny going...
