How would a cobb stage 2 wrx vs a 95 c4 corvette six speed stock, running ok. getting ready for this race when my friend comes back in about a month so I am getting ready.
I believe the vette has a few hundred pounds more but still has more HP.. I am thinking it will be close if I get a good launch.

From a dig you'll beat him, the stock LT1 is slow. And from a roll you'll be very close and probably beat him as long as you don't put it in 4th.
That car is 3200 lbs with 300hp and 340 ft*lbs.
Corvettes are hard to launch on stock tires and suspension (wheel hop) but at the 1/4 I bet its close, after that he is going to run past you.
My friend had a C4 with side pipes and ZR1 rims , it was a beautiful looking car, his best time at the track was a 13.6@100mph. I used to race him with my supra which ran a 13.9@103mph and i would always reel him in since we never raced from a dig. I think a stage II wrx would beat a C4 from a stop and keep right up with if not beat one from a roll. My friend that had the C4 won his class with a basically stock 4.6 mustang with just suspension mods in some sort of road racing last year, so he knows how to drive.

As long as its just a stock C4, or no more than really basic upgrades (like a catback and airfilter), it should be a pretty close race for your Stg 2 WRX. If you can launch good you should be able to hold him off for a while. From a roll its probably going to be pretty close, with him slowly walking away the higher the speeds go.
Just race him and have fun doing it, it should be a good match. And dont forget to get it on video for all of us...
