and nobody here is trying to be a ****.. they're just stating opinions, thats why its a public forum. gotta get used to it.. anyways, take it with a grain of salt. sometimes if someone repeats you, its because they agree. or not. but there are a lot of people with a lot of experience and knowledge here..

next time ,say you beat an STI due to a ****ty launch on his part..the only reason everyone is flaming you is cuz of your understanding of your mods.

the intake i can forgive, but anyone (and this isnt a slam) who lists a bov as a performance mod is going to be subject to ridicule. you cant take it personal, its just the way this club works

Which by the way...does tend to increase HP a bit due a false MAF signal indicating normal amounts of air compared to the slight bit more you get from the intake when compared to stock. This is a proven and known fact. Not true for every intake, but AEM is one of them. Now...upgrade to something later and the intake will have to go as it tends to screw up a good tune due to the incorrect MAF signal.

Again though...good race. I would have hung my head in shame were I that STi driver...not having pounded you be at least 6 lengths by 4th gear.
thank you, i did not know that later on it will be useless... i apreciate the clear up. i didnt men to state my bov as a performance mod i just ment to say thats all i have on my engine, ii wont do it again... but thank you

ok, im sorry for the miscommunication... and im sorry i took your comment as an insult, i understand i am going to need EM... i just thought you were trying to be a ****. but i now take back my prior statement. sorry again

i have a turbo back... and as of the "smokeing them comment" you are entitled to your opinoin but as for me being ahead of some one in a race counts as a kill in my book. and my ententions wernt to try to brag about how fast my car is(i know i should have gotten smoked, cause i have raced an sti before and lost)i was just excited that i was a better driver then someone else out there and i was trying to share my happiness

    Damn, damn, damn!!!!

You guys need to learn how to type. He never said he was the sti killer. He said he smoked the sti which is saying he beat one. It's all terms to describing a win. And yes an intake will make your car faster because it leans out the a/f ratio by tricking the maf. The reasons tuners tell you not to put it on is because it tricks the maf because of the huge bend that comes right before the maf. That bend causes all the air to flow to the top of the tube and not where the maf is, which is, near the bottom of the tube. Stock sti's arn't that fast. Hell, it is just like him describing he beat a rwd car from a stop that had a bad launch.

Now everyone bow down to me because: 1. I'm asian
    2. I'm old school.

Now everyone thank me for pointing out the obvious.

    Good KILL HKSWRXSTISMOKER.

This is a kills forum right?

buhahaha..I agree with it all. Just do me a favor though and let me know when a WRX with intake and catback get in the 12s. Then we'll discuss the "Stock STi's are slow" comment.
