my newly Stage4 wagon vs. talon, srt-4

I got my bigger turbo installed on Wednesday.

    Talon:

I was driving to my local weekly Subaru meet and there was a 1st gen Talon TSi on my ass. He gets in the left lane to pass me at WOT, and I punch it. I pull about a car on him in 3rd gear. We get the next light next to eachother. We smile to eachother and start pre-spooling at the red light. I get an ok launch at about 4.5k rpm's, but we come out in 1st gear almost neck and neck. In 2nd gear I put about a half a car on him, another carlength in 3rd, and kept pulling slowly from him. I shut down when I was at the top of 4th with him about 2.5 cars behind. We give thumbs-up and go on our ways. I think he may have the popular Evo3 16g turbo upgrade for the older DSM's. I have no idea how much horsepower they put down with those mods. It also sounded like he had an external wastegate or something like that.

SRT: after the Suby meet, I met up with my buddy who has a fast SRT-4. He has exhaust, intake, Stage1 chip, bigger intercooler, and supporting mods. We went from a 40mph roll, and he slowly walked me. We shut down when I was at the top of 4th and he was 2 carlengths ahead. He said that I was one of the fastest WRX's he has run. I went for a ride in it and it was all torque. It kept me pinned in my seat the entire time.

I am TurboXS stage4 with a Deadbolt Super16g turbo and using the stock intercooler for now.
I am only running about 17.5psi
My mods are in the link in my profile.

    Cool

Great runs Bro, and congrats on a nice sleeper. Wagons that are fast are scary to me Raise the boost, and you'll notice a big difference. How much can your car handle boost wise?

Stg. 0 happens to work better then Stg. 1-2 with certain mods, like the ones I have. When I had Stg 1 & 2, I was getting alot of detonation/pinging and pulled timing at full throttle.

My mods: Stg. 0 ECU, Stg. 1 injectors, Map Clamp tuned, AGP wastegate, Big CCA FMIC, BDJ's TBE no cats w/16 inch resonator, homemade MBC set to 20psi dropping to 15 psi by redline and Turbo XS RFL BOV which was leaking a bit at the time

you got it, if the computer is controlling the timing at all of fuel and spark then stage 0 gives the most timing advance and fuel curve. but if the oem pcm isn't doing anything but the essentials then pick your poison as they all will make good power. i run the stage 2 pcm for the 6500 rpm limiter and love it.3

awesome races to, ditch that tmic for a fmic turn the boost up with some race gas and a tune. then go destroy some things.

yes, as long as I'm the tuning is good and I'm not detonating. I am running 19.5 psi right now and the car is solid as a rock except the clutch, which I am getting a stronger one in next week.
