it's a double edged sword....if I saw an NSX today, I would *drool* over it all day long, even though my UTEC Stage 2 makes more power lol

why? because i've never seen one in my life and it's *gorgeous*. it's a car you can look at for days and not get sick of. I've seen so many 'Vettes, even C6's, where I can call them beautiful but it would not have the same effect.

seriously, if i had a chunk of change, i'd get an NSX over the 'Vette. i'm not a race car driver, i'm a 9-5 worker. at the end of a stressful day, to be able to walk up to a thing of beauty like the NSX and fire her up is a special thing

its just something really special.... sure its not all that fast, but oh well... no matter how fast your car is, there will ALWAYS be something faster..

id also take a Ferrari over any super insainly modded import (like 500hp+) :]

Lamborghini's and Ferrari's are mostly for rich people wanting to show off that they have money... most of the time.... im pretty sure if you ask the guy what kinda motor hes got he'd be like "who cares man its a ferrari."

I totally agree, Will. I am thinking about getting v-tec for the Vette, maybe even two... it's like a turbo kicks in at 8,000 rpms!!!

its a status symbol...
yes, a car introduced 15 years ago certainly lacks in the performance department (straight line speed) when compared to the more technilogically advanced cars we have now a days. But its still an extremely expensive NSX which will forever be an icon...

so if i were to be able to choose a NSX or a Vette, id take the NSX... but if I had to pay for either or.. i'd get a Vette, because its clear that its performance all around will absolutle crush the NSX.

just my humble opinion

Yup, sold it. Its time I save for a house. Just save period. I'm 23 now, and I need a house more than a sports car. I'll miss it. Atleast I have the bike for speed.

I think my next car will be a vette

Maybe a C5 ZO6 or a C6 Z51? Time will tell.
