    3 rotors would be sweet.

    but the reason why rotaries got such a bad name is because they have to be taen care of differently than a piston engine. a lot of people who owned rx7's didnt know that and treated it like a piston engine.
    if you changed the oil every 2000 miles, didnt use synthetic, let the car warm up fully before driving it, and never let it over heat, a rotary would last just as long as any piston engine.
    over all the rx8 is a cool car, it looks good and im sure it handles like a beast. but nothing will ever compare to an rx7. if you have ever driven one you will know how amazing fun they are to drive. and has the smallest turning base. which is amazing
