    WRX 2004 stg 2 vs. 2005 STI

so me 2004 WRX and my buddy with the STI finally agree on going at it,

first pull... we both come to a stop and go all of a sudden and feather launch at 4k, i pull away in first and second gear... he stays a car behind me for the entire race till we topped out 4th going around 115-120... he tried pulling and almost did...

second pull,... stop light goes green and i destroy him on the launch... basically he got it handed to him by 6 car lengths, and all i could see were headlights....good race...

oh yeah btw... he has i/e and bov
i have stage 2 ecu, u/d pipe, exhaust, bov , k&n drop in

Did you go from a slow roll to see which car is actually faster and not just what driver is better?

nice runs man..... I raced a buddy of mine in his STi when i was stage 2. From a roll, we stayed pretty even until about 80, when he started pulling a little. From a dig, I actually pulled some cars on him, because I know how to launch like a bat outa hell.

yeah, i can beat up a lot of cars by giving them a gear, torque is fun. I'm stage 2 so its a lot better low end torque than stock.
