Me -vs- Modded 03 cobra

This was a SWEET race. I finally got a chance to race a modded one. He had a 14lb pully, chip, intake, big drag radials and exhaust. I was on my high octane map so I was ready to rock and roll.

We go from a dead stop. I get an awesome launch and he has a sub-par one so I jump ahead a couple cars. In second gear I pull about a half car, and in third I pull about another half car. We stayed this way to 110mph and shut down. I'd say in the end I had about 3 cars on him. Obviously with slicks this would be a much closer race but it was awesome nonetheless. That blower sounds ****ing sweet. I was very happy with how my new map did.

I'm not calling BS but with those mods the Cobra should be putting down 450+whp.

I have to admit I'm a little surprised at the outcome.. I would have expected a Cobra with those mods to walk on a WRX pretty good, even at your level of modification.

Either way congrats, as we all know in many cases driver>car.

yeah i doubt that guy could drive. His launch was very sub par with drag radials like he had and IRS.

You can call BS if ya wanna, i'm not trying to post this to boost my ego or something. I just thought you would like to hear one of my latest actual good kills. My videos, my times, and my word should be enough proof.

um, to my knowledge all 03+ Cobras came standard with IRS

confirmed, all 03+ cobras did come standard with Independant rear suspension.

Those nastysockers never cease to amaze me. I bet they say "why didnt you wait for the z06 as well." Have you ran the quarter in yours yet out of curiosity?
