COBB Stagge 2 Vs. Maybach!!!!!!!!!! THAT's RIGHT!!!!!!

OMG, was that a cool race....

I was driving to my buddy' house and I saw this car come behind me and I noticed that it was a Maybach. I was about to get on the highway so I had flashed my economy map, but as we were sittign there I switched maps and I thought that MAYBE I would get a run in.

Anyway, we get on the highway and I can tell that he wants to get on it. On the on-ramp I got a clear sense that this was a promising morning

Got on the highway and I started pacing him. Speeds increased and I would pass him and then let off. He did the same (60-90mph bursts). At one point he went all the way up to 110 and I caught him.

After a couple more of those ( I was ahead in 5th @ 95) I saw him coming on me, pretty quickly too. I left it in 5th and he put a lot of cars in between us (maybe 4) by that time we were going 120+. I know I should have downshifted, but who cares....the guy actually gunned that car which was well worth watching pass me.

I "think" if I had downshifted it "could" have been a hard race for him. I am impressed by how fast that thing moved though.

good run. I gave him the high beams cause I had to exit early.

Sad thing is the outcome would have been the same even with a guy in the back enjoying a glass of wine (prolly wouldnt notice the driver was racing somebody)

They have a "killer" deal on some...starting at 209K

Twin turboed 12 cylinder engine....I wonder how much they weigh....

I love to se cars on the road like that (not common around my town), but its sooo much more fun when you get to see them perform too. I have a hard enough time trying to get Vettes and Boxsters to play around here (thats about all there is here other than the clan of stupid civics with altezzzas, wings, and fartcans ), Your definatly lucky to get one to play with ya....

when i was in vegas on memorial day weekend, i saw one of them pull up to ceasars palace casino. In the backseat two hot young girls. Car is freakn huge. Windows were down and the backseat area was amazing. I could probably live in that backseat (only if the girls stayed with me)
