new kill

i dont race much since my wrx is pretty stock but did race an eclipse GSX this afternoon. I knew it was an awd turbo and know that they are pretty quick, especially if they have been upgraded. this one looked and sounded like it had some upgrades, but nothing too crazy...exhaust, box and small front mount. anyway, he asked if i wanted to race at the light and i said yeah... at the light i pulled out about a car or so on him and held it up through mid third gear. the second time we did it from a roll..i was in mid 2nd gear when he hit it... i nudged him through third this time, but only about 3/4 of a car or so.

dammit. need some mods quick (immediate plans: downpipe, uppipe, cobb ap, borla hush, Sti intercooler).

nice kill, yea dsms are pretty quick. Dont feel bad though, i lost to a foxbody for my first real race, granted i was doing 50 in 4th (way out of powerband), i mean i held side by side, he had like a 1/4 of car on me. Then i shut it down at like 80 or so because cars were coming up ahead. Its ok though, he grinded 3rd. Keep up the good kills.
