    04 Forester XT vs New V6 Mustang

    It was a joke, this poor guy probably got lied to. It was from a stop to make it worst. Had like 7-10 cars at the end of 3rd. Poor guy.

    If I had a V6 Mustang, I'd just mind my own business.

    Good slaughter.

    The v6 Mustang is almost as quick as the outgoing GT so it's no slouch.

    Still gotta love driving a sleeper

    Ummm... ...no...The outgoing mustang runs 14.0 @100, I have seens stocker run 13.7. New V6 runs low 15's trapping in mid to low 90's. That seems to be a pretty big difference. Now compared to the pre-99 mustangs gts, it would hold it's ground...

    mustangs get bigger and bigger each year. i think by the time we hit 2010 part of the car sale is going to be your own skipper to steer the thing.

    Ok, so maybe not as quick as a PI-engined GT but definitely close to an earlier model. I'm at the track quite a bit - those were no speed demons from the factory.

    My Grand Marquis was quicker than most automatic GTs at our 1/8 mile track.

    That is exactly what I said, but I guess he thought it would be an easy kill for him.

    The new forester XT is no joke. That thing runs mid 5's in 0-60 and high 13's. That SUV will surprise a lot of people.

    First off, I love your cars!
    And yea I had an 03 rex and the XT is definately faster than the WRX. I am very hated around my town. The funny thing is I will beat many cars that would usually be a good race but give up when I get the good launch. For example;

    Infinity G35 Coupe and Sedan, both gave up too early after lauch.
    05 Mustang GT, if he knew better he would have beat me but he gave up early.

    I think its the surprise of a forester being ahead so quick. I dont know though.
