STi > SRT4 (0h n03z!!!)

A stock STI will pull away from a stock SRT4. I put 3+ car lengths on the SRT4 in stock form. Now the SRT4 owner just started modding because of me. The SRT4 dynoed at 240whp & 250 ft/lbs stock.

No they will not given that they are both int he proper gear. I have two friends who own Sti's and when I was stock (for about a month lol) I would actually gain a half car to 130 (top of fourth gear in the SRT-4) after he shifted into fifth.

yeah, everyone has different stories off a roll. Seems to be drivers race(or basically at what speed you start what gear etc etc. Of course i've also seen races with stage 2 srt4 vs stage 1 sti and stage 1 sti wins off roll and launch. go figure

I put you at about 330-360whp at those boost levels. You should run at the track and then I could tell you for sure. My friend that has a 10 second talon claims my car is putting out 450whp by the "feel" of it, but they use high reading dynos out here. It all depends on the dyno you are referencing too. That 330 I quoted could be as high as 380-390 on a different dyno.

usually all drivers want to go from a dig because thats a real race. In the past when it came to racing it was drag racing from a dig, than came fwd.

I know but I go from a dig if there is an option. I can launch my fwd well, I dont understand why most people just drop the clutch and mash the throttle.

As I said before depends on the dyno. Most people quote dynojets which are glory dynos and high 300s would be accurate on that dyno

i seriously, seriously doubt im running above even 350whp on a very generous dyno. of course, there is only one way to find out...but that aint happening anytime soon.

I raced a srt4 from a 45mph roll in my wrx with a helix dp, up, and catback and i only lost by about a car length to 140ish. He was stock besides a shortshifter. So i definatly think an sti can take one.

I raced a stock Sti from 2nd gear roll up to about 95+ mph and I kept about a car length the whole time.
I also raced another STi with an exhaust and a CAI and lost by about a car length and a half, and probably could have been more!!!!

Stopped and talked to the drivers both times, really cool people both times. But it sure doesn't take a lot for an STi to pull an SRT from a roll!!!!
