You could do that on a POS and you`ll still kick some ass.

A POS doesnt start you out with a 263hp/260tq 3.8L V6 MIVEC engine

The hp to weight ratio aint great either. If I had the money for a project I would get an early cobra and mod it. Talking about enough HP to begin with.

    no true.

Many engines are not designed to have a turbo thrown on and properly hold the power... this goes for the transmissions as well.

Mitsubishi already made a car with the same weight and a v6. It also had twin turbos and AWD. It was called the 3000GT.

yeah, but this car seems to perform considerably better than a 3000GT SL

You won't find any SL's with "twin turbos and AWD" The SL was a hugely boring car anyway -- who'd want 3500 lbs, fwd, and 220 hp?

For some reason, even having their own Evo, Mitsubishi doesn't understand that to create a huge following for a car it has to have a robust mod path. I doubt the new one does have any potential past stock, except nawws. Why are Subaru's, Hondas, and old DSMs so popular? There's something you can do to 'em! Why do I drive a Legacy? Because there's soemthing I can do to it!

That link says the "Drivetrain" is Front Engine /RWD. is that a mistake?

I am perfectly aware of what the SL is. But you were comparing its similarities to the 3000GT and the SL is much more comparable than the VR4 to the G4 eclipse

My response was for those who said the 4g should be turbo and AWD -- that Mitsubishi had already made such a car. I've owned six DSMs (five 1g's, 1 2g), a Galant VR4, an 89 Mirage turbo, and two Stealths. I know a little about their offerings too.
