    I know completely off topic, but it does have a 450hp turbo engine.....that is also insane...

    The chayanne (sp?) is a twin turbo v8 not the 3.6 TT H6 in the 911. IIRC its the same motor as the Audi RS6.

Oh well..........either way that car is to nice. Do you really need anyting more then the 911T? The gt-2 might be "over" the top for most. Oh well...i'll go back to dreaming.
    Its a rear engine car so its "that" bad, but you can def. tell just from the numbers. For instance, the GT2 is actually about 70lbs lighter than the standard 911T and makes more than 70whp more.... Yet the GT2 will only run the 1/4mile about .5 faster. So you can tell that traction plays a roll, but also, look at the trap speed... that indicates how much power the GT2 has because it traps about 5mph higher

    Hrmmm 0-100 in 6 second but only an 11.5 in the 1/4 mile. I dunno about that seeing I only hit 93 mph at 7.5 seconds. You would think it would have a faster 1/4 mile time for that 0-100. Unless it's dog slow after 100, which I find hard to believe.

    Nice death, Donnie. It's always a joy to get slaughtered by a Porsche.

    I don't know if you remember, but I reported my own highway beating by a 911 Turbo a while back. He put buslengths on me in a few seconds. It was hilarious.

    Porsche > all other car manufacturers, IMO.

    +1.

    The only car I would prefer to own over a 911T or GT2 is a higher end Ferrari, which costs considerably more and does not perform as well.

    I would be scared that I would be dissapointed for the money you pay. I already have a comparable straight line vehicle that doesn't do bad at turns either. I'm sure it's more refined but I don't think I would see the 300k or whatever you pay for one in it. It does make a good status symbol though.

    Every single part of that car is perfect. If you just take a look at that yellow painted clipers of GT-2, those are keramic brakes. I saw one test of that brakes. They were making 0-140-0-140-0-140-0. At the end there was only 1,5% difference in stoping distance.

    def. not $300k.
    911T = $120k.
    GT2 = $180k.

    Your car might perform similarly, but I will promise you it is nothing like driving a porsche! The experience of it justifies the cash.. its more than just what numbers it produces on a track, its about how the car feels, or how you become the car!!

    I have been in/driven some pretty fast cars (11sec blown WS6, 10sec Nova, 11sec Stang, and even some nicer handling cars like an M3, modded S2k, modded Miata, etc....)

    but NOTHING compares to the experience of riding in my uncles stock and modded 911T

    For that much money I could probably get that much power out of my evo too.
