me vs supercharged 365whp G35

Well, I was at the first night of the weekly Bald Hill car show out east on the island and a G35 coupe parks next to us scoobys, and he has the ATI Procharger kit with a FMIC. We were all gawking at how nice the car sounded.

After we leave, I'm on North Ocean Ave with Ryan (stiguy) in my car, and we come along a black g35 coupe cruising along at about 50mph. Ryan tells me to pull up next to him. We notice that it is THE supercharged g35 that was at the show.

He looks at us, and Ryan points down the road and yells, "GO!" He takes off and it takes me a second to find 2nd gear. By 115mph we stopped and he had about 8 car lengths on me. We were in awe because we have never seen a g35 that fast before. We pull up to the next light and Ryan asks him how much he dyno's. He said 365whp .

He asks me if we want to run from a stop and asks if my car is AWD and what I have done to it and how much horsepower I have. When the light turns green, I get a pretty good launch and he is just spinning his tires. I had about 2 cars on him outta the hole and he passes me pretty easily at the top of 2nd gear. We give thumbs up and go on our way. I loved this death, and it felt refreshig because it was the best run i've had in about 6 months.


Ray.... Sarcasmo.... look into forced induction. I looked up the type of kit he has and its the ATI procharger.

Brandon and I had a lil run, also on N.Ocean after Bald Hill...
Rolling start in 1st until 3rd then had to let go because of a light.

Dead even, not sure how I would do up top....although I was pulling on FTY's STI on DPA...

I dont know VW's, but the owner of the r32 had some EIP prototype kit. eip paid for most of it and did the install. The kid didn't have any idea what turbo he had (size or wastegate setup)... when we asked him what he had done to his car he had to read his mods off a sheet that eip wrote up

There is a Vortec s/c'ed G35c running around here as well. Never had a chance to run him or see the car in action but I see him driving by every now and again. A friends, friend, etc... knows the guy and says he is making 340whp on a pretty conservative setup. I love the G35c and having it boosted must be amazing
