O, ok.... That changes EVERYTHING!!

An LT1 runs low 14's with a good driver as opposed to LS1's which runs solid mid 13's and trap about 5mph higher... the LS1 is a far superior engine to the LT1 in several ways.

Good race then, this sounds about right. Those cars usually take a pretty big beating and after 7/8 years you are generally only going to see 14.3-14.5 out of one with a good driver.

Dont let the fact that you will lose deter your from racing.. but yes, you will lose.
I have taken a couple of LS1's in the 1/4mile on my stock turbo (but running most bolt on's) but from a roll it is literally useless.

ive raced some low 11 high 10 muscle cars and lost, knowing i would lose, but it was fun to watch them rip anyways

Exactly, and you wont lose even remotely that bad to a stock LS1.. So like I said, dont let losing deter you, its all about the fun

I don't think that you're bs'n I ran a SS at the track and it clocked a high 14. I realize that internet times and the times people can actually drive the car to can vary quite a bit.

two weekends ago in N.J. , rt 70 in cherryhill area , my wrx held an ss camaro at my rear door till i stoped at about 100mph/top of 3rd. we both rolled on teh gas from a dig. He did break loose a very little. I have a a.t. so.... it was white with black wheels. Stock early 2k ss.
Very Nice car.
Oh, i had two bicycles on my roof

haha, that makes it even sadder, cause not only is that adding weight, but also a ton of drag as well

You raced an LT1 Camaro (1993-1997), and those results sound about right. An LS1 (98 and above) is about 1/2 second faster and 5 mph more in the 1/4 mile and would provide a different outcome. Nice job on taking down the Z28.
