    True trainrex. I just wanted the ones who have actually raced an rsx-s at the track to respond. I could care less about peoples "opinions" about which is a better car.

    me = WRX
    friend = RSX Type-S with intake

    Off the line i stomped all over him and won with about 1 car length.
    Roll on from 15mph in second gear, pulled through third into fourth with a little over half a car length.

    Bottom line my stock WRX toys with his Acura Poop machine.

    I have run tons of them.

    If you can drive you will waste him in the 1/4. A properly driven wrx is good for 14.2 whereas a properly driven rsx-s is good for 14.8
    You are a good half second ahead of him, but he does trap nearly the same as you, so do a couple rolling runs on teh way home, it should be pretty close

    I used to own an RSX-S and now have a WRX, I have friends with Type-S's as well. If you can drive it will be no contest on the 1/4 mile strip, Best I personally did in the RSX-S was 15.2 stock, with an average run of 15.3-15.6, My best run in the WRX stock was a 14.4, with an average of 14.4-14.8. The only race I've had from a roll with the WRX against an RSX-S was my friends that had intake and exhaust with 18" rims, we ran from about 60-100 with just a catback on the WRX and I pulled about a 1 - 2 cars on him, probably pretty close without the rims weighing him down though. since as mentioned above they both trap close to the same.

    in my opinion the RSX falls into the category of the RS. Naturally Aspirated motors. A good driver on an RS will do about mid to high 15's.

    The 05 rsx's respond pretty well to mods. With just a race header and a CAI the 05's can pull around a 14 flat @ 100.

    yeah, I know what they are capable of. My car before my wrx was a decently modded GSR.
    I have a few buddies running low 14's at pretty impressive traps with race header, intake, exhaust and hondata. I dont think the RSX-S gets enough respect. It's not a super car or anything, but its great at what it is supposed to do and a pretty damn nice car if I do say so myself.
