I just merged onto Rt 1 and I see him behind me. I know that he saw me and was doing what he could to catch up. The car in front of him moved over so he came flying up to me ( I was going 60mph). He paced next to me and looked over, then dropped a gear and floored it. I immediatly dropped to 4th and took chase. Within 1 second I was all over his rear, then I took an empty lane and flew past him. While I passed I looked over at him and he had a big disappointed grin on his face.
I slowed down and then took off again, easily putting car lengths on him while he tried to stay caught up.
I couldnt stop smiling, this was my first cobra kill.![]()

nice kill. I was able to pull up to the bumper of an 2001 cobra on the highway. it took about 5 seconds to recover a 4 car deficit.
The diference is ,he gave me aand said he was getting an sti in the future

a moded sti willl have no problem with an older cobra, as long as its not s/c'd. They have alot of potential with a s/c and no2 shot. I also pulley away from a stock STI on the highway. 280 awhp is doing just fine but i want more. 18G to come soon.
btw, im Trading the cobra/roush for a harley f150 this weekend.

(and for the saleen loverrs, they have NOTHING on this car in breaking and suspention! the s281 extrem dynod lower stock, saleen is known to exagerate hp, and teh breaks adn suspention are not even close the roush adn alcon. Stiff as hell. The most mazing car iv ever driven. Not the fastest iv been in streight line (high 11's w rubber) but in the turns and breaking , its THE best , and iv driven alot from zo6's to sl55amg,M3 (NOT M5..LOL) to moded sti's (had to add that).
The roads and traffic around me are horrible for this car.
