Can a Stage 2 WRX pull a stock EVO

Thats what I thought. I guess I will have to just put a turbo upgrade and intercooler w/ more fuel. Then I can stomp them.

lol yeah.....

but the sad part is that you upgrade your turbo, etc... and all he needs is a tbe and MBC to romp on you again

Just like every other car out there. Once you think you are fast there is someone else faster.....

The cars are quite evenly matched stage 2 v stock evo. I'd still give the edge to the EVO if it has a good driver. I think it all comes down to driver skill on this one.

I ran 12.7 @ 108 mph with a VF30 untuned. So you don't need that much to beat a stock EVO. My bud's stock EVO only traps 98mph on most his runs at the track.

Well, I am cobb 2 + uppipe and I pulled on an EVO....70-110...I mean, I crawled away, but I did not loose ground.

98mph is pretty low. Most should be trapping over 100mph with ease

Who cares who's faster. Just enjoy the rex you know? I mean they are both fast cars and fun as heck to drive. Anybody can beat anyone on any given day with the right circumstances. If you really want to beat an evo though, just race him more than twice in a row. They will toast the clutch and bam you win!

i have ran two stock evo's. One side by side, and one right behind him. The side by side one, we went fro 40-150mph and i had a good 2 cars on him. The guy kinda freaked that my car did so good. He did have some gauges and all, so i don't know if he was "stock" or not, but it was a good race. I did race a stock evo one other time and he hits it in front of me and i hit it right when he hits it. I was slowly catching up, but we let off... it was a 10-80mph run. Not bad at all.

I put my r32 (with the mods) right with a stage 2 WRX, with my r32 having a better top end.
