Killed an RSX-S....Turbo?

We have meets every sat. night where I live, and have been for years now. They used to be a bunch of true car enthusiasts getting together to share a common interest. Lately it seems that they have been over-run by stupid, ricer mobiles driven by people who in my opinion dont look old enough to drive, or be out past 10:00 for that matter. Anyways, a few weeks ago I was leaving one of these meets and was hit up on the highway by one of these children. He was driving a Rsx-s (big surprise) and did the telltail, pull forward and then slow down thing. Well, he just would'nt give up and against my better judgment I dropped gear and the race was on. We went from like 60mph, and by the time I hit 100mph I was so far ahead of this kid I let off because it was pointless. After that he kept try ing to catch up and pass me, and I would just leave it in 5th and bye-bye again. My hubby was behind us in the Wrx and called me saying " I think he is turbo" I sayed i doubt it, that was to easy. Well sure enough he shows up last night and there it was a big shiney front mount

Oh and this is the same kid i mentioned in a prior post. White kid g-ridin' with hat on sideways.

Not that we needed to confirm the questionable potential of the Rsx, but this made my day

ricers will be ricers and maybe all this guy has is a fmic just for show? they are really quick when boosted. Btw they have decent potential, a guy around here goes around beating stock evo's srt4's s2k's off a roll with dc race headers hondata and intake (only from 60mph roll or 30mph where other cars are in 3rd and him 2nd..or others 2nd him 1st)

I know this. Almost any car has potential given the right amount of money and decent knowledge. Iv been into hondas for a looooong time. I just figured this would be an entertaining story since the majority of Rsx owners think they could give god himself a run for his money. I am usually the one on here deffending hondas against people who think they cannot be made fast. I am well aware of their potential. I had a Crx that would consistently hand guys in 5.0 mustangs their ass, and make them think twice about that smug smile they gave me when I pulled up next to them.

I/h/e, test pipe, fuel rail, and spoon chip.

you right, if they made a list of annoying car owners, rsx type s drivers would come first. That same guy i mentioned raced my friends big turbo gti and got smoked. They stopped at like 130. Rsx guy asked him why he didnt keep going so he could catch up

..were talking about a gti here with over 300whp.

Yeah, most of the Rsx owners iv met make me kinda ashamed to me a honda enthusiast. Thats why this was so funny. This kid spent upwards of $3,500 to put a turbo on his car, and obviously didn't bbother to get it tuned. After all, we all know that it doesn't matter what you do to your car once ther is a turbo on it. Forced induction automatically gives you 1,000,000hp.....to the wheels!

you are absoulutely right. It should have pulled me pretty good. Just goes to show how important it is to have you car tunned correctly. I guess someone should have told him that
