    *vid inside*2k4 WRX 5spd VS. 2k2 Maxima 6spd

Me and my homie PaulSaidHi decided to have some fun tonight...and go do a few freeway pulls....here is the spec sheets for both cars....

    2002 Nissan Maxima 6spd
    -Apex-i Short Ram Intake
    -Cattman Catback Exhaust
    -Blehmco Ground Kit

    2004 Subaru WRX Sedan 5spd
-Cobb AP Stg2 (raised redline too)
    -Nvidia Catback
-Perrin IC hoses w/custom intercooler water sprayer
    -Uppipe&downpipe (dunno which brand)
    -Lighten pulleys
    -HKS SSQ BOV

All four races started at around 60-70mph rolls....one passenger in each car....two races were won by me....and the other two races were won by Paul.....the two races I won was because he gave me a head start....but the other two races were legit as it could get.....by 130-140ish Paul had me by 1 car length.....this is closest race I've ever engaged in....man all i have to say is....JUST BLAAAAZE!!!!

mad props to PaulSaidHi and his fast a$$ subaru.....we'll do this again before you get your damn stg 4 =P ......

what do ya'll WRX tuners think of this race? any input is appreciated...

this is amazing, i thought a 2k2 maxima 6-spd would still beat a stg2 rex on a roll. the VQ35 just doesnt mess around when it has traction. from a dig, well...the rex will take the maxima even in stock form. nice runs. i still would like to get a 5th gen 6-spd one day as my tourer.

Yeah I thought I would beat my homie from a roll too....because I've seen dyno-graphs of WRXs and their turbo suffocates like crazy after 5500 revs.....as opposed to mine where it holds power almost all the way to redline...you think that intercooler sprayer and cobb AP raised redline (7500) helped him significantly?....well I guess he has one mean as hell WRX.....hehe

Thanks for the compliments on my car you guys....I really appreciate it when I step into another forum and people say positive things...even though I don't own "their" car....

    nice maxima and nice races.

With your mods and him being a StageII+ I would say the outcome is pretty normal. Although, I am a bit suprised that he still had ground on you even up to speeds of 130mph. You need to get a y-pipe and some cattman headers on there

yeah I was very impressed with him holding his own ground at speeds over 120ish....thats like 5th gear territory with over 5,000 revs......and my car is designed for speeds like that.....wheres a stock TD04 would suffocate....but yeah he does have mods to back it up.....and I just barely have intake/exhaust.....he has supporting mods which flattens the torque curve up top...wheres a stock wrx would drop off tq like mad after 5,500 revs.....anyway I think the main reason why he beat me was becuz he is a good 225lbs lighter than me.....

cattman headers are sitting in my room waiting to be put on soon

stay tuned ya'll...the video is coming up pretty soon....its a pretty tight one
