V7 STi cluster Kp/h to MPH conversion

Been meaning to do this for awhile but was racking up the Kilometers to coinside with the correct mileage on my car. First you need the Elite International E0021 Converter chip. It has four wires coming from it.
    Red- power source
    Black- ground
    Yellow- signal in
    Grey- signal out

I decided to solder the power source and ground to the back of the cluster so that I wouldn't have to cut factory wires. All connections are made on connector i10 which is above the speed. It is also the only connector with only a single row of pins. Pin 7 on the connecter is power(red), pin 6 is ground(black).

Here is a cleaner picture, nevermind the grey and yellow wires.

Pin 2 is the speedo sensor wire (green with yellow stripe). I cut this wire a few inches before the connector. Connect the yellow wire to wire coming in from harness then grey wire going into cluster.

I had a friend, who is a cop, meet me out on a country road and had him clock me. It is right on up to 100 MPH, didn't go any faster than that. Guess there will be no more maxing out the speedo, 180MPH

Yes, the odometer will read in miles also. Hmm, how to actually hit 180MPH, well have to swap out with a V12 and get the correct body kit. In the end it will look like this.
