Clock Install (if you have Guage Pack)

For those of us who have the factory guage pack here is a way to re-install the clock. You need your clock. The dealer should have given it to you with the cover piece attached. You need that clock b/c it has the connectors you need.

1 Take out screws that hold in cupholder. Pull out cupholder.

2 Remove vent. Pull on RIGHT side first. The clip that holds it in place is on the bottom left corner.

3 Push plastic vent away and find the white plastic piece in the picture. That is the pita part! It is held in with a philips head screw. This part took forever. Once that wire is free there is enough slack in the line to reach the new mounting location. You could splice the wires if you are talented enough.

4 Cut a hole in the vent with a dremel or exacto knife to fit the back of the clock. Pull the wire through the opening and test to make sure there is enough space for the back of the clock. The part that sticks out should fit into the hole you cut. This becomes the anchor so the fit needs to be exact so it doesnt move around.
