    Limited and Premium seats interchangeable?

Hey all! I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. This seems like the right category...

I'm considering purchasing a 2016 WRX Limited, but here in the desert leather can really burn you in the summer time. I would like to remedy this by swapping them out with the premium seats. I am aware I will be losing an axis of movement and that this is not a factory or dealer option, but that doesn't really bother me. I'm sure the parts people will order them for me. The real question is "do the limited and premium have the same wiring harnesses for the seat hookup?".

I would imagine they do. It would be silly for Subaru to build two different harnesses just for the seats.

There is a possibility on the new seat the harness will be missing various wires in the connector to account for other functions

@Defiance: I have not yet, but I will. I've been let down several times at dealerships in the knowledge department. It is kind of an oddball question, after all.

Isn't the seat just "leather trimmed"??

It's not a full leather seat IIRC. Might not toast you as bad on a summer day

    Edit: JK it's fully leather.
