06' WRX - Door Locks sticking and only 1/2 lock/unlocking

Wondering if others have this problem or just me?

Is there a fix for my door auto-locks? now 3 out of 4 of them only open partially. They stick when unlocking. When moving the locking mechanism manually, you can feel resistance in the switches, and you have to work them back and forth a few times to get them to act normally. Then they work normally until they sit for a few hours. It's somewhat intermittent. Super annoying...
Also, If you try to unlock using the key, you can feel the resistance there too. It's been doing it for a few years now, and its just getting worse now to the point of asking here.

Maybe it needs greasing? if so, I take it I would have to pull apart the whole door panel to get to it ?

    Thanks for your time.
