    03 wrx sluggish not boost leak either (log file inside)

    Hey guys im having some issues for my car as it appears to be a never ending battle. Ive been experiencing problems spooling and hitting target boost,(20psi) on vf39 and also feels like my timing is being pulled. Seems like getting to 80 is a challenge now. So far what i have done is Boost leak test found only one and it was my piston on my turbosmart bov. Fixed it Second was check for exhaust leaks and fix them i now have no leaks. IAM has found its way down to 3 or 0 sometimes the car does have high miles about 176k did compression check and it was 160,160, 160,158. low one was cylinder 3 (passenger back) I also changed plugs after compression test ngk iridium ixs one step colder I have attached a file to my log so you can see for yourself and tell me what you think. any and all help would be greatly appreciated i also believe my mods list is in my profile

    That's a raw deal man, there's so many things it could be. Did you flow test injectors or test fuel pressure?

    May be as simply as a fuel filter or bad fuel

    heres an update so far i have replaced my fuel filter changed gas stations so testing for crap fuel still no change but i did do another boost leak test and once again my turbo smart dual port is leaking out the top trumpet around the piston starts around 3 psi on gauge.

    Are you doing the tuning yourself?

    ...also seems like an obvious thing, and I am sure the leak test would have caught it if so, but you have made sure the intercooler connections are all tight (including underneath)? I can't help but notice you have the "ebay Y pipe" and wonder if there could be an issue there.

    when i boost leak tested it it started bubbling out of the bov and got worse as boost increased but other than that i heard no other obvious leaks end the psi drop down was close to normal 1 sec per psi drop
