    Questions about 09 wrx

Test drove an 09 Wrx for the first time and it was awesome the handling and power were much better than I was expecting but the clutch was as tough as nails. Was an effort to push down and it didn't bottom out like other cars (where you only need to half press it to release) it kind just resisted like a brake pedal. That and it took about 5x as much force to release. Found myself not pressing down hard enough a couple of times.
Is this normal? Do you get used to it?

Other one is it had had 9 services total is this normal, isn't there one every 6months? It was all done at the dealer

    Is the clutch aftermarket?
It could be an overheated pressure plate.
Definitely get it looked over at a Subi Shop.

I asked her about it and she said it's always been like that and she got used to it. From my research a heavy clutch is normal on wrx's but they also have a long stroke. This car did not have a long stroke, it felt short.
