    02 WRX. Yay or Nay?

Hi everyone, first post on ClubWRX, looking forward to getting further into the WRX community!

Anyways, I've been looking for an 02 - 03 WRX for awhile now, and one has finally caught my eye.
It's a silver bugeye, 90k miles, unmodded from the looks of it. 1 owner, CLEAN CarFax. It has some
bumps and bruises on it, nothing too deep that would be a pain to fix, especially compared to other
WRXs I've taken a look at in the area. Clean wheels. This is definitely the cleanest one in my location. Probably
going to need new brakes after testing them on a test drive, no weird noises coming from the engine
nor rattle from the cabin. Only thing is a squeaky driver's side seatbelt. Almost everything functions inside,
the exception being the driver's controls for the right side rear passenger seat window; it can be lowered by
the driver, but it can't be raised. Passenger can raise and lower the window.

The dealer is asking 9300 after I showed them KBB and NADA. Yay or Nay?
    Thank you!
    Alex

    For more info, just ask!

    Welcome!
$9300 is high for an 02.
Is the maintenance up to date?
Has the timing belt and water pump been replaced?
I'd take a gander at it, keep looking at the same time.
If you could get them to $8000 with up to date maintenance, it'd be worth it.

Thank you for the quick reply!
Maintenance appears to be up to date with service records at 90k miles.
Chances are the timing belt and water pump have not been replaced, I am unsure about this.
I'll ask next time I head down and take a closer look. I tried getting down to
$8000, unfortunately, it didn't work. He seems firm at $9300, so I could try to get to $9000.
