    Thanks all for the advice.

You might have asked why I invested in new wheels, black lugnuts, winter tires, 3m etc., and the answer would simply be because I intended to keep the car at the time I made those decisions. As it is I think I'll put up with the "problem" as the only other manual cars I like are too expensive.
Raven, could you describe the problem a little more? Do you find the gas pedal too far to the right so your heel is forced to rest too far to the left, with your foot basically angled outward?

I'm pretty set on getting a 2015 WRX soon. I test drove a used STI and didn't notice any placement problems with the gas pedal in the very limited time I spent with it, at least not for my frame (I'm 5'11", 210 lbs). I just would like to know what I'll be dealing with in the long term. I did find the clutch pedal in the STI a little too far to the right for my taste. Funny enough, out of all the cars I've driven, I find my current lowly 2008 Civic has the best seating position and pedal placement, with the clutch placed exactly in the right spot in relation to the center line of your body. The worst offender was a right-hand drive BMW 320d I drove in the UK. There was so little space around the clutch pedal and it was angled so awkwardly that my left foot kept getting snagged by the dead pedal and my leg always rubbed against the transmission tunnel.

Congrats on your new STI, Bontchimuz. Did you have to do a factory order up there in NH? There is absolutely no 2015 in stock in my area (MD/VA/DC metro).

Yeah, will do so by this weekend, hopefully. Too bad it's a seller's market right now with the 2015.

Argh!! Seriously? WRXs too? Rub it in my face, why don't you?

That's like a ridiculously poor job of anticipating demand by SOA. Hmm...NH is only a short 8 hour drive for me. This is going to be a 3-day weekend right? Haha.
