With the amount of dressing in the engine bay there's no way to know.

What do you think of the massive dent in the front fender?

An automatic can be swapped out for a manual if ever you want to go that route. Auto also means the car is less likely to have been beaten!

I would want to find out if the OEM (catted) uppipe has been replaced with an aftermarket / or de-catted (see thread on First mods you should do, in the new members' hangout), when the timing belt was last done (every 105k m) and if everything was done with it (pullies, water pump) or just the belt replaced, and how much a garage would charge you to fix the a/c. The uppipe job is at least a few hours' work.

I'd replace the timing belt and pulleys/water pump and thermostat regardless as soon as possible anyway. Just in case
