    Considering a Trade - 02 Bugeye

    2002 Subaru Impreza WRX Sedan - 5 Speed Manual - 143,000 Miles
Custom Enkei wheels, GT Spec headers, Perrin air intake, front and rear sway bars, short throw shifter, and a custom exhaust.

Thinking of trading a 07 Honda Civic coupe with 110k miles on it worth around 7K. Any input on if this is a fair deal let me know please.

if your intention with the trade is to get a vehicle for anything other than as a toy, it seems like you'd be getting the short end of the stick.

That depends on a few things.

    1. Is that want you want?
    2. Do you know the service history of the WRX?
    3. Do you know if the car was properly tuned for those mods?
    4. Does it have a clean title?

That sounds like a terrible deal to me, as posted, let alone the WRX's unstated maintenance/accident history. If my car was five years newer with 30k less miles, I'd never do a straight trade for one older with higher mileage.

    I'd look for something else.

The Civic is the better car.

I wouldn't do it...you're getting a car with mods on it (done properly? tuned? do you know anything about it?), it's 5 years older (maintenance kept up with?), and with 30k + more miles on it...not worth the potential headaches.
