    Thinking about buying another subie

    I found an 07 wrx with 92,000 miles on it for $10,500. Good or bad deal just off your opinion? I'm not sure on the history of it cause I haven't gotten a chance to speak with the private seller but what should I be checking for since it's almost at 100k? I know the timing belt is a big one.

    i would just check for general maintenance/60k service. the timing belt wouldnt need to be done until 105k or 105 months so you dont need to worry about that.

    Well...he doesn't need to worry that it has/has not already been done, but he will have to worry about it relatively soon.

    The seller didn't get back to me..so I found an 05 with 137,900 miles for $4000 the only stated problems are a cracked windshield and the syncro gear going into 4th is fuzzy he said. Is it worth it? How much would it be to repair it? Would I have to replace the entire transmission? If it isn't too time consuming I'll do it myself.
