Yes. Despite the ST's lack of a mechanical LSD, the MS3 has more torque steer. The torque steer is still evident in the ST though... especially with that wallop of torque available at only 2k RPM.

I love my WRX, but it's far from the fastest car on the road.

If you get tuned you can kill some of that lag and cleanup the funky stock powerband. Highly recommend at least doing the off the shelf Cobb accessport

Endless you must hang out at Nasioc too much, most of the regulars around here have a love/hate relationship with their subie and constantly bemoan how slow it is

That didn't take long. It went from loose to "fallen off the windshield" at about 1,100 miles. Hopefully my local dealer has a fix.

I've never been on nasioc actually. To many kids I suppose. Idk it never really appealed to me. And I don't think my wrx is slow. 13.6 in the quarter on 91 octaine at 2000ft elevation for a 4 door econobox is pretty darn quick in my book....lol
I do have a love/hate relationship with my car but not about how fast or slow it is.

In the day and age of sub 13 second cars for under $40k, it certainly isn't the quickest on the road.

I've had mine for about a month now and I have no problems with it. I drive a solid 700+ miles a week visiting my fiance and for work. Gas milage is a little rough at times but for the most part it's fun, quick, and I have 0 complaints.

4.7-5 seconds 0-60 is pretty damn quick in my book, given that is totally stock with the crappy stock tune, and I can bring 4 friends with me?! Count me in.

Hi you must be new. "0-60" means jack squat.

In the real world, no it doesn't. But it's a decent comparative measure. And quarter mile times do mean something, which at 13.5 @100 isn't too bad for a $25k car, given it also has a ton of space and is AWD, which is great for me living in WA. I don't care just about straight speed. Overall, it's a great car, so long as you don't care about having the newest tech. I did a lot of research before deciding on a vehicle, and I'm not new to cars

To each their own. The WRX is not the car for everyone, and I'm definitely not saying it's the fastest car for the money, or the best. There is no best. Just saying that for me, it was the best mix of everything I was looking for at a price I think is fair. We're all enthusiasts here, so as long as you love what you drive, it's all gravy!
