Rpms drop... normal?

    Rpms drop... normal?

    In neutral, on a hot engine, if I give it rpms 2-2,500 and let off the throttle the car drops to about 900 and it stays for a few seconds and then drops 800 for a few seconds and returns to 900. Is this normal?
