    They don't. I'd guess less than 20% of new wrx's are leased although the lease is not bad.

    I leased mine. Not saying I'd recommend leasing. I did it because I have no self control and its a good way to keep me from switching cars too frequently (sad, I know).

    I guessed so, mostly because I think most people looking for a WRX want to 1) modify it and/or 2) keep it for a long time.

    Yup, plus they know the resale is stupidly high anyway. Nothing wrong with leasing if you're the right type like novascooby said. The lease is not bad for what it is, usually around 2k down low 300's.
