How much is my car worth? STI 07

    Hi All,

Just wondering what my 07 STi is worth, I will be selling, since I have a kid now and such and I need something where I feel I wont be speeding as much.

I have a 2007 STi in fantastic condition. Only a couple of door dings from other moron parkers.

It has never been drivin in the snow.

Less than 29K miles on it, only summer/spring driven.

    Black and Stock gold rims.

Modded to a stage 2, following mods are in the car:

    -Invidia Q300 Cat Back Exhaust
    -Invidia Catted downpipe
-3 Amber DEFi Racer Gaugues (Boost/Oil Pressure/Oil Temp)
    -Rallitek aluminium Alloy Skidplate
-Rally Armor Mudflaps (Back with red lettering)

This car has never been on the track (no time) and driving very lovingly. The guys that worked on it for me tell me how clean it is and not been tortured.

I bought it brand new and have the title.

I was unsure what I can ask for when putting the car up for sale.

Everything else is stock. It comes with a fullsize spare (gold rim).

What does Galves, NADA, and KBB say? That's about as much as you can expect. That low of miles, I'm sure will add to the appeal, if not at least a bit to the value. As for your mods, they're not worth anything on top of the value of the car. Go ahead and try for more, but any informed buyer won't offer you squat on top of fair market value for those.

No mention of a tune. Do you have one for the downpipe?

$28k-$30k would be my guess and probably closer to $28k. KBB is way over inflated in my opinion.

However this would only be if the car had a full service record and proof the mods were done properly (tune for the dp etc).

Keep in mind, mods do not ADD value but subtract value from the car.

If this was done, you'll want to provide proof to a potential buyer.

That is MORE than the sticker price was NEW in Excellent condition. Seems way high.

More like $22-24K would be fair. Thinking you might be able to get someone who LOVES the low miles for maybe $25k if you are lucky.

KBB always inflates to look good for the seller. Most car dealerships will use some form of the NADA guide and actually price a little lower than you want. I'd say an 07 STI in pristine condition with that low of mileage would pull $25k-$27k...but as others have said, mods won't increase what it's worth at all.

I'd guess 25k plus. Pretty ridiculous considering the original msrp was like 32k! Do you have the stock parts? If so put it back to stock and sell the parts here.

It also depends a lot on the part of the country your are in. I got 20k from the dealer for a trade on my 05 with 77k miles last spring. I paid 29,700 out the door new in 05 so I say I did alright. These cars do hold their value very well.

    Good luck with the sale!
