First off I'm new here so hello! I'm currently driving a 2012 Focus. I like it but I'm highly considering trading it for a WRX hatch. I had an 02 Outback, which I loved! But stupid me I traded it for the Focus. So that being said, are there any pointers or things I should consider when looking/trading? Thanks for any help!

If buying used, you need to make sure it passes both compression/leakdown tests. Be sure to inspect the car for signs of modifications ("return to stock" pre-sale is common, so a "stock" WRX isn't always what it seems).
