If you find a car from an enthusiast who appreciates what these cars are capable of producing with work, expense, and modifications, I would expect it to blow up.

If you find a car from an owner that maintained it with authentic Subaru parts at the correct intervals as specified by the maker and kept all receipts, I would be upset if anything unexpected happened to it at 120K. In fact if that were the case I would never, ever buy another Subaru again. In the 21st century we should not tolerate low reliability if the car is maintained according to the maker's info.

See the how-to-buy sticky threads in the purchasing forums. Go to this link, and read the first 6 (six) threads up top plus the links contained within those threads.

Also follow the link in my signature and all threads contained within it for info on parts, maintenance, etc.

The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong in the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry. Ernest Hemingway, A Farewell to Arms, 1929
