on a 2013 Limited hatch with Popular Package 1 , STI short throw... for 29,800

My dealer charged the 899 dealer fee, they were not budging on it at all. Being that this was the only 2013 Limited in stock in all of Florida and we got a decent deal we paid it. They also wanted 450 for tag, we decided to transfer the old tag for 250 but now they sent us $91 back in the mail.

One of my friends who works at a Subaru Dealer says their dealer fee is 599

Dealer fee is something i would never pay. I believe the destination fee is built into pricing for Subaru, the "dealer fee" is just them charging you money because they can.

By law there is a cap on the so called "document fee" a dealer can charge you. It varies state by state.

Roughly 4 weeks ago, base sedan + short shift + dealer installed swirls. $25,500 + $250 dealer fees + local tax + $25 title + $95 reg fee. At 2.3% interest. Everyone, if you have good credit do not just take the offered 2.9%, they can put you to as low as 2.2%, just ask for it. Live in Boston, bought in NH.

the manager at the dealer said he cant wave 899 dealer fee but he can lower the wrx price and then with the dealer fee it will show 26462.00
i said ok that way i will pay less tax because car price will be lower
my main problem was my trade in (other dealer want to pay me 3600 or 4600 but wrx 27500
this dealer quote me 3600 for trade in but when i said sorry i cant take it he asked me my price i said 6000 for trade and 26275 for wrx
invoice was 26062 but they said 26462 and i ok
in miami no one go lower then 26275 + dealer fee tax tag and you wont see wrx every day or may be every week.

I guess just add cost pf options on this?
    WRX STI - 6MT - MSRP - 34,295 w/ Delivery 35,065. Dealer Pricing 32,448 w/ Delivery 33,218.

Guys, here is some advice from an old geezer....just tell the dealership to lower the price by the amount of the Dealer Fee....that way you are not paying for it, yet they still charge for it.
Been doing that for years....and as Miss Swan says...."Works verytime! Free Burger for Miss Swan!"
