My friend started working at paul miller subaru in parsippany today and I went in today to get a quote on a 2013 WRX 5-door base with short throw shifter, boost gauge, and fog lights. The MSRP came in a little over $27k and he told me that they can not sell any lower then that due to the fact that they sell within a day at that price on the lot..

Was wondering if you think hes just trying to make some money off me or if you can do better then that.

I sell WRX's to club members for 500 under invoice, so yes I would be waaaaay better than that. Send me a PM and I will work out a price for you but its going to be more than a thousand dollars less.

Idk, I've known him for a long time and he's been a pretty good friend to me usually..He just started working there less then a month ago so I am not sure if they wont let him go less, or if he's just trying take advantage of the situation to win brownie points with some managers or something..

Sounds great, I will PM you shortly. Anything on the lot yet or an ETA on when you might have something? Ramsey is only about 15mins from my house so I can swing up there almost any night

Purchasing a 2002 wrx 4eat outside the USA
Hello all, I am very new to your site, and am glad could enroll myself to post a thread here. I am from Dubai, in the Middle East, and many people don't actually know what a Subaru is around here.

My dad was an enthusiast and got me hooked to Subaru since I was a kid. It's been a while now, since I sold my Tribeca, and seek to buy a WRX. The road radars and Police patrols here really don't let any mods work whatsoever, they confiscate your car!, so it's ideal to buy or use an unadulterated car. So, I searched and learned that the 2002 mpreza WRX were never sold at the dealership here, so you have to buy a used imported car here.

So, I got a BUG eye WRX 4eat used car, 2002, imported from the US. It's black, looks in good shape, and the seller (looks and sounds honest) claims that there is absolutely no mods on the car, and he never really understood why one should mod a WRX cause it's best to use and sell when left untouched. He is offering it for $6812 and the car only has 54,000miles on the clock. There s a low cost aftermarket audio inside. The car drives very well, the steering it stiff and the car had amazing grip on the road...

He has given me the VIN number, myself am no professional nor do I have any knowledge on anything technical. Can someone please help me. Can it be searched and found out whether this car is a stolen one, was it found dumped in a lake, is it even a WRX? Did it have an accident, etc,...

    The ViN is : JF1GD29622H523164.

Please someone do a carfax or something and find out from the US, as it's a US car imported here.

Thank you all, truly appreciate it.

    Kash

    Hi Clayton,

Just wondering if you could tell me how state sales tax works for someone purchasing a car from out of state.

I'd be coming from MA which is a hike but it sounds like it might be worthwhile depending on what I get quoted out here.

    Thanks.

You pay your own state's sales tax, not where you buy. We do your plates for you regardless of where you live. MA has some unique requirements though, mainly that your insurance agent has to get you your plates. I can walk you through the process if you are interested, just PM me.
