Looking for some opinions and advice! - ClubWRX Forum - Subaru Impreza WRX and STi Community and Forums

So i have had a 1998 Honda Accord Ex V6 for sometime which gets like 17-18 mpg sooo im not worried about that i was looking at Subaru Legacy Gts and Subaru WRX's im liking the legacy because its a little bigger and has dual exhaust. I also like the WRX because I am big into audio and looks easier to transfer all my stuff into it. Im looking to beat all the little Civics around my area including the integras and 350Zs. Which car is easier to mod! i am talking about easy like Bolt ons, Pulleys, and maybe an intercooler..

I want to say both should have pretty even potential the new WRX is built on a Shortened Legacy Chassis....

I even think they are the same engine. However there are probably a few key differences so I'm going to say the WRX will be easier.

Both are basically the same as far as modding is concerned. You can get an LGT to be pretty damn quick at stage 2.

They are very similar cars, mechanically, so shop with other things in mind. They will end up making more goodies for the WRX, The LGT is more luxury, Those cars you want to be zoomier then will expect something from a WRX... colors... options... trunk space... curb weight...

Just remember you can never be too legit.
