The freshest of the fresh dyno results are in: 230 whp 315 wtq on a Dyno Dynamics

Since we all know dyno results are just meaningless numbers, stock on the same dyno is 175 whp/220 wtq

STI (multiple stock cars): 222 whp/~240 wtq

Hola people!! As I have not been on here since 2009 it's just cause life's been really busy but I'm back and glad to be home.

My 2008 Subaru wrx engine and turbo blew!!

Looking to to do an engine n turbo swap.

Any good suggestions on where I can get it at less than 3500??

depends on what part of the engine blew. short block will run you around $1,500 and if there's any damage to the heads add about another $600-$700 a side. labor is another story. a salvaged enginge with turbo might get you into that price range with labor.

Joe Momma, where U BEEN?! I know your car has grown massively since your list was posted... c'mon, guy... what's cookin'?

Do you have other mods lists elsewhere and don't edit here? My reason for asking is, we were matching each other mod for mod for a bit, then you vanished!

Watch eBay auctions for EJ257/EJ255/EJ207 (dependant on what displacement you like) engines. $2000 shipped for the entire powerplant w/ everything but the downpipe is not unheard of. It is often cheaper to pull and crate the whole thing. This benefits you.

With the other $1500, cams/sleeve-piston kits/cam sprockets/valves/retainers... etc,etc... the dream begins. It's always better to start from the inside and work out.
