    First Project Car Suggestions?

    Hey guys,

So i recently purchased a 2016 WRX Premium a couple months ago, but i got the extended warranty on it so im a little hesitant to start modding my brand new WRX. However, being that i am new to the Subaru world, I am considering trying to find a older project car that I can play around with and learn over time how to really get the most out of a Subaru. I am basically interested in building a custom STI out of a WRX or an older model Subaru. My question to you veterans out there is, which platform would you say is the easiest to work with? Ive heard of people doing 2.5RS swaps, old Impreza WRX swaps, and also newer WRX swaps. Being that this is my first project im looking to get a fairly cheap shell and then slowly add parts to it learning along the way so i was leaning towards a 2.5RS, but it really doesnt matter to me, Im just looking for some feedback/opinions from people that have more experience.

    Thanks for the help!!

2.5RS would be my choice as well.
