    Artist formerly known as ______?

Hey all, finally got around to starting a build thread for my 2015 wrb limited. I'm completely new to the mod scene, although I can do most of my own maintenance. Having a good trusted mechanic and time constraints have definitely dulled my senses though. I'm super excited to get advice from you all through the process though and maybe even come up with a name for my car, as my wife likes "McDreamy" .....but yeah.....

My newbie thread if anyone wants background.

    Anyways on to the build!!!

I'm just looking at years 1-2 right now. As money trickles in I'll be picking up various parts based on importance. I would love to get the Cobb AP but since I'm under warranty still I'm scared to death of voiding it(especially w/the new engine) before I get this thing paid off!

    So far:
    Tint 20% 3m colorguard
    Rally Armor Mudflaps
Perrin Pitch Stop Mount(best $100 I've ever spent)

    Want:
    JDM grill
    JDM fog bezel
    LED interior/exterior replacements
Wheels (Call me crazy but I love the stock bbs wheels on the sti)
Exhaust(favoring ETS at the moment, but seems like Nameless is pretty good as well)

    Looking Good.

ETS Makes a quality exhaust, and I love the way it looks.

You're not crazy for wanting some STi stockers, I, too, love the way they look.

If you want quality LED's but aren't into drinking the SubiSpeed OLM Kool-Aid like half the apparently rich WRX Owners out there, then Diode Dynamics sells a great product.

Im glad to see that you're new to the mod scene, but you're not like " My only plans right now are a BOV, I want a whoosh sound for my new TERBO" lol.
The Anti-N00b. Use "Search", YES, you need a tune. NO, you don't need a BOV. Don't try to make you car shoot fire, and change your freaking oil.

Cool! Thanks for the kind words and info Chad!

This place has been an invaluable tool in my research of this car. Before I found this place, SubiSpeed was all I knew. I have since found SMY (great prices!), and Rallysportdirect amongst others.

I have seen quite a bit of complaints about the OLM lights as well, but you would definitely recommend the DD lights?

Tore the rubber spacer/bushing when putting the intercooler back on after pitch stop mount installation. It's what I get for attempting install in 105 degree heat last weekend!

I've been considering the pitch stop mount for a while now. Glad to hear you noticed a difference. I think I'll finally bite the bullet and get it installed! I should have done it while I had the intercooler out a couple weeks ago lol.

Super easy until I tore the rubber bushing when when reinstalling the intercooler. Once you get the intercooler off its just two bolts to get the factory mount off, and replace with the new one. Have a rubber mallet handy though, it's definitely a tighter fit then the OEM mount. All in all, even with my issues it still took less than 30 mins.

Yeah, 5 mins or less once the intercooler is off.

I was really worried about noise transfer(car shares family duty with the wife's car). But another member here told me to go with perrin, as I was looking at beatrush also and had heard a lot of complaints about NVH with the beatrush mount. With the perrin mount NVH is pretty much non existent. I notice it has helped my 1-2 shifts, as well as it just being smoother overall, especially in traffic.

Not much news on the mod front, saving up for my ets exhaust, and some stocker bbs sti wheels. But I put on some vinyl overlays and a WRX vanity frame.Click image for larger version.
