    Mods... :D

What Has Been Done So Far:

1 - Debadge everything in the back but keep "wrx" on there.
2 - Wrap the Subaru emblems on the front, back, and steering wheel.
3 - Swap out the stock shiftknob.
4 - Put on better tires.
5 - Dealer installed spt catback exhaust.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    What I Plan To Do:

1 - Paint the "wrx" emblems red.
    2 - Get hellahorns.
    3 - Add a boost gauge.
    4 - Add a vortex generator.
5 - Replace stock license plates.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any suggestions for future mods to the car? I wanna avoid doing anything that could be used as a way for the dealership to deny warranty, so obviously nothing that goes into stage 1 or stage 2 for now. Pictures will be posted after all is done, rest assured!

What do you mean by "Replace the stock licence plates"? They kind of need to be there.

But yeah, like nsibanez mentioned, I'd start with suspension. Or engine responsive mods like a pitch stop mount.

    Definitely suspension first.
Get some swaybars and good end links.
Even some RCE springs, I would also start replacing bushings.
These mods will definitely improve the body roll, but the ride will be a little harsher than stock.
Then some new rotors, I like Stoptech rotors myself. And upgrade your brake pads with the rotors.

Once you have stabilized the car and beefed up your brakes. Now it's power upgrade time.
I would start with a Cobb AP, then get a catted downpipe and flash stage2.

Wouldn't the anti-roll bars and end-links cause more ware* to the car, according to the dealer?

I don't wanna play with the ECU or tune of the car for warranty reasons, unless there are other ways of gaining actual horsepower/torque that don't void warranty?

Oh and my frames say some advertisement crap... I want them to say either COBB or SPT or something along those lines...

Anything that will add legit HP gains will void some or all of your drive train warranty.

If you just want cosmetic/comfort mods, look into some audio upgrades. That would make cruising around in the stock WRX much more enjoyable. Possibly mud flaps (if you like the look), which will help protect the paint. Weather tech floor mats are incredibly nice and something I'd like to get. I have added some alcantara pieces to my interior (brake boot/shifter boot covers), which I was pleased with. Another idea would be some engine dress up (alternator/radiator shrouds/battery tie down).

Just a few ideas. A lot of people would consider these a waste of money (but they are more performance mod minded), and if this is the direction you want to go then DO IT.

I could go on and on about performance mods, but you have indicated that is not what you want.

    Hey guys!

Yea I do not wanna be adding any "performance" mods to the car until after the warranty expires, just because I like being on the safe side with my ride. With that said though, I definitely would be going straight into Stage 2 probably, when the time comes. For now just wanna keep it as close to stock as possible, just to really appreciate the major changes in the future to the vehicle!

Yea I might change up the wheels to something lighter and stronger, or maybe not, since I am a fan of how they look right now. Perhaps I could look into some weight reduction such as taking out the spare tire and the extra tools and box under the trunk, but who knows? If anything I'll be taking away the extra floor-mats and upgrading to a lighter steering wheel and sound system, but not sure about that yet. Just thinking out loud for the time being.

You have plenty of time my friend.
Start making a list of non performance upgrades.
Craig is right about engine dress up, it looks so much cooler than stock.
And really shop around for your wheels and tires.
I have seen some amazing deals recently.
But above all have fun and enjoy your car,

Sway bars would be fun after wheels and tires.

    Thank you both!

The thing about engine bay cosmetic work, is for me personally, I do not really see it as something I would ever put time or money into... no matter how much or little... unless it somehow helps in performance...

    This. This so much.

    Alignment, tires, motorsport.

I'd love to do HPDE, but it's risky, so I stick to AutoX.
