Do it! As long as you get tuned and datalog you'll be fine.
You have the exact same setup as me minus the downpipe. Every WRX owner I know not counting here, is stage2 or stage3 tuned.
Most people I know from here are also stage2. You have a whole resource here to help you, people here share the knowledge. Then gain you get is worth it Whp and TQ. I like the Cobb DP and the Invidia.

I decided to take the jump to stage 2. Looking at an Invidia catted downpipe and currently in talks with a tuner. Hope this goes well

I noticed you put a sti rear spoiler on your ride. I am very interested in the process you took to achive this. I have been reading many forums about this and everyone has said that you cantt swap an sti rear spoiler with a wrx spoiler. the one thing I can think of is you got yours with out a spoiler all together.
thanks for your time
ok I noticed a lot of info on the threads about that type of thing. I really like the look with the wing on the back.
my biggest problem is I have a red wrx so trying to find red in almost impossible were I live. I am almost positive I have the only red wrx around. well I guess I just wont be needing it after all.
thanks for the quick feedback.
Red is probably going to be very hard to find ... Check out the nasioc.com trunk swap forums since that is a very active community
OK THANKS I JUST CREATED A NEW THREAD FOR THE LIGHTNING RED OWNERS I REALLY WONT TO KNOW HOW UNCOMMON THE THE COLOR IS
Some pics from last nights meet...
